imageconverttojpg.com is a privacy-first image toolkit built to be the fastest, most honest place on the web to convert, compress, and edit images. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser — nothing uploads, nothing tracked, nothing stored.

Our mission

Image tools online are almost always the same: upload your file to a random server, wait, download, hope nobody keeps a copy. We think that trade-off is unnecessary. Modern browsers can decode, compress, and re-encode images faster than a server round trip. So we built ImageConvertToJPG around that idea: no uploads, ever.

Meet the founder

Shariq Chaudhary is the founder and lead engineer of ImageConvertToJPG. Shariq spent years shipping performance-focused web products — turning heavy server workflows into snappy browser-native experiences — before starting imageconverttojpg.com in 2025 to give creators, designers, students, and everyday users a faster, safer alternative to legacy converter sites.

Every tool on the site is designed, built, and tested by Shariq personally. If a conversion looks off, it's on him — and you can email him directly.

How we built it

  • Canvas 2D + WebAssembly for raw pixel work — JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and TIFF are all decoded in-browser.
  • Web Workers keep the UI at 60fps even while compressing 100+ photos.
  • No file server. Our infrastructure has no image bucket, no upload endpoint, and no room for a leak.
  • Auth-only downloads keep the free tier honest without ever touching your image bytes.

How we make money

Free downloads are limited to 10 per day for signed-in users, supported by Google AdSense in non-sensitive placements. Serious users upgrade to Pro ($50/year) or Unlimited ($191/year). That's it — no reselling data, no dark patterns.
