1. The images you process never leave your browser
All conversions, compressions, resizes, and edits on imageconverttojpg.com happen entirely client-side using your browser's Canvas, WebAssembly, and File APIs. We do not upload, stream, cache, or store your images on any server. When you close the tab, the file is gone from our systems because it was never on our systems.
2. Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account we store your email address, display name, and (optionally) an avatar URL supplied by your identity provider (Google or Apple sign-in).
Usage counters. To enforce plan limits we store a per-user record of download events (timestamp, tool slug). We never store the image itself.
Billing. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We store only subscription status, plan, and provider-issued IDs — never card numbers.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider collects standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for abuse prevention and are rotated automatically.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and localStorage entries: an authentication session cookie, a theme preference, and a daily download counter for signed-out visitors. See our Cookie Policy for the complete list.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
imageconverttojpg.com may display advertising served by Google AdSense and its partners.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

7. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process personal data under the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract for account and billing data; (b) legitimate interests for abuse prevention and product analytics; (c) consent for personalised advertising in regions where consent is required; and (d) legal obligation for tax and accounting.
8. Data sharing
We share personal data only with the processors necessary to operate the service: our hosting provider, our authentication provider, our payment provider, and Google AdSense when ads are displayed. We do not sell personal information.
9. Data retention
Account and subscription records are kept for as long as your account exists and up to 24 months afterwards for tax and dispute purposes. Download-event counters older than 14 months are automatically purged. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States or the European Union depending on the service. Where required, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@imageconverttojpg.com. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete.
12. Children
imageconverttojpg.com is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
13. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified by email where we have one on file.
